Modern Slavery

Last updated February 2026

Introduction

At Kwatt, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct and ethical behavior. We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and our supply chain. We are committed to acting transparently and with integrity in all our business dealings and to implementing systems that ensure slavery is not taking place anywhere in our operation.

Our Business Structure & Supply Chain

Kwatt is a provider of specialist technical crew and infrastructure support, operating across the UK, Ireland, Belgium, and The Netherlands.

  • Our People: We manage a scalable workforce of over 100 specialists and general labour crew.
  • Our Sectors: We operate in high-security Data Centre environments and high-pressure Live Event productions.
  • Our Supply Chain: Our supply chain consists primarily of PPE suppliers, equipment hire companies, and travel/logistics providers based within the UK and Europe.

Our Policies on Slavery and Human Trafficking

We operate several internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner. These include:

  • Recruitment Policy: We operate a robust recruitment process, including conducting "Right to Work" checks for all personnel to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will.
  • Whistleblowing Policy: We encourage all employees, crew, and partners to report any concerns related to the direct activities, or the supply chains of, the organization.
  • Professional Conduct: Our crew are briefed on the standards of behavior expected of them when representing Kwatt on-site.

Due Diligence Processes

As a provider of labour, we recognise that our greatest risk lies within our personnel. To mitigate this risk, we:

  • Verify Identity: We verify the identity and legal right to work of every individual we engage.
  • Direct Payment: We ensure that all wages are paid directly into a bank account in the name of the worker.
  • Vetting: For high-security environments, our crew undergo additional vetting and background checks to ensure the integrity of our workforce.

Training & Awareness

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our business, we provide relevant briefings to our management team and ensure our site leads are aware of the signs of exploitation.
